Jersey Shore's DJ Pauly D to spin at Bogie's

Get your Jägerbombs, Heineken, hair gel, booty shorts and Ed Hardy trucker hats ready! Paul Delvecchio, known as DJ Pauly D to ya'll, is bringing his signature blowout to spin some sweet house music at Bogie's Bar on February 10.

Pauly D is one of the seven cast members of the wildly popular MTV show "Jersey Shore," who just happens to be a professional DJ. According to his website (www.mtvdjpaulyd.com), he began DJ'ing when he was 16-years-old in his hometown of Providence, Road Island. The self-proclaimed ladies man is now in demand across the nation, and he will bring his utterly incredible style to Baton Rouge.

Harry Hennegan, a manager at Bogie's Bar, said all of their pre-sale tickets sold out within a few days of announcing the show.

"We had around 200 tickets going for $15 each," Hennegan said. "We'll have some tickets at the door for $25 starting at 9 pm." The doors will open at 7 pm for those with pre-sale tickets. Bogie's is offering $2.50 Coors light and $3 Heinekens all night for the show.

Erica Wahlen, elementary education Senior and avid Jersey Shore fan, cannot wait for the show. "I've seen every episode of "Jersey Shore" and I love it!" she said. "When I heard that DJ Pauly D was coming to Baton Rouge, I bought tickets for me and my friends the next day. I can't wait to see everybody fist pumpin'!"

With all of the excitement surrounding the show, expect the tickets at the door to sell out fast. You can expect the bar to be at capacity for one of the most anticipated shows of the semester. So, get on down to Bogie's early to beat up the beat with about three hundred of your closest Affliction-clad friends, including yours truly. Just don't punch any girls with hair poofs in the face.
