BR MyPhone MD has a store for that

Baton Rouge is home to some of the smartest and greatest business entrepreneurs in the country. What started out as a simple business idea has brought some of Baton Rouge's greatest business people a fair amount of success.
Conrad Green is one Baton Rouge entrepreneur whose idea has grown into a thriving business. Green is only 22-years-old, but to many, he is known as the iPhone MD. Green taught himself how to repair iPhones and other Smartphone devices, and now he has made a growing business out of it.
"It was kind of at one of those times when they didn't have many guides to repair iPhones," said Green about his early repair of iPhones. "One thing I put in my biography before is I went in with the intention of fix it or throw it away. Over a two or three week period, I thought I had just blown up my phone completely, but I slowly worked it back around, and I finally fixed it."
Green took what he learned from repairing iPhones and made it into what is today a successful business. In 2007, Green and Jeff Lyons brought their two businesses together into what is today myPhone MD.
"I've been an entrepreneur ever since I had a dog walking business when I was 11. I went from that to real estate. I had my real estate license when I was 18," said Green.
"I sold a lawn and landscape business that I ran for a few years, and I sold a few different things. I just really started kicking it off in the iPhone repair business pretty hard and fast. Within six months, I had my first location over in Perkins Row. Within my next five months from that location, I'm opening up my second location off of Airline, and that's my jewel right now. Within the next month and a half, we're going to be moving up to Lafayette, Lake Charles and Shreveport."
MyPhone MD has spread to be a prestigious and expanding company based on fast and reliable phone repair. The company specifically works with "CPR," which to them means Cell Phone Resuscitation. CPR allows myPhone MD to quickly fix Smartphone devices and iPhones for a price that is much cheaper than buying a completely new device.
"It's a very high-class service center," said Green. "We give some results in a very professional manner that makes people feel welcome in our shop. It's a good experience. We sell all high-grade accessories, and within the last month, we started a 15 percent student discount. We did a 15 percent military police discount since the beginning just out of respect for the entire organization like that. The good thing about it is that we warranty all our stuff for six months, so if anything ever happens again, we give another 15 percent off our next repair. We don't leave you hanging."
What started out as a small shop has now grown and added several new locations, namely one new store on Airline Highway. Altogether, the business has grown into four different locations and is continuing to add on and expand.
"Our long term goal is to bring better business to Louisiana not only to just put money in our pockets," said Green. "Through this business, the idea is growing and expanding and hiring other people and giving all of these businesses around us money for different services. So in a way, it's beneficial for Baton Rouge and for Louisiana whenever we upsize."
