Swedish manufacturer sells Pee and Poo in a box
By David Bates
The latest trend in the world of children’s fashion and entertainment, Pee and Poo are a living, breathing turd with eyes, and an anthropomorphic droplet of urine. They are cute, adorable, and they want you to hug them. According to the Web site, “Pee and Poo works just as well as potty training inspiration, as a cuddly companion.”
The Pee and Poo characters, known as Kiss & Bajs in Swedish, were designed by Emma Megitt in Stockholm, Sweden.
“I wasn’t sure who would buy the toys, but it turns out that kids absolutely love them,” Megitt said in an interview with Metro UK.
Megitt did not originally plan to market the characters but unexpected demand led her into production. The brown and yellow buddies have their own robust Web site and online store, where shoppers from around the world can buy Poo socks, Pee tattoos, downloadable wallpapers and even stationary. A growing number of brick and mortar retailers also stock Pee and Poo products.
The lovable bowel movements can be found at www.peeandpoo.com.
