Add one to the music game mix
This holiday season is getting blown up with different Guitar Hero and Rock Band games being added to the market, but proven by Umbro and Sony, the holiday season is still a time to experiment and make new music video games. The two companies teamed up together in West London to produce Football Hero (as in soccer). The game uses five different colored sensors that are several yards wide to coincide with the colored buttons similar to the Guitar Hero Games. To play, the players kick soccer balls at the sensors to coincide with the colored buttons coming up on the screen at the right time. The only song that has been tried so far is Kasabian's new single "Underdog," but Football Hero actually looks a lot harder then it sounds. (Source: creativereview.co.uk)

The Who to play Super Bowl XLIV
Every year, football fans look forward to the biggest game of the year: the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl lives up to its hype as well with wildly entertaining commercials, and big-name music groups to play the halftime show. Just announced last week, Super Bowl XLIV will be providing legendary Brit-rockers The Who as the halftime show entertainment. With bands like U2, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, and the Rolling Stones performing famous Super Bowl halftime shows in the past, the Who are bound to provide a great show for the 2010 Super Bowl in South Florida. Clint Eastwood receives French honor
In 1802, Napoleon Bonaparte created the Legion of Honor to recognize non-French people for their contributions to France. In 2009, actor Clint Eastwood has now officially become a commander in the Legion of Honor. Last Friday, French President Nicolas Sarkozy presented Eastwood with the award. According to the citation for the award, Eastwood was honored "for his body of work, his longevity, and his ability to delight audiences around the globe." (Source: yahoo.com)
