7. Dunbar depresses me. I like some of the characters this season - namely Isaac, Cohutta, and the much abused Parisa. Unfortunately the only positive moment with Dunbar was at the gay parade. The rest of time he has been deceitful, angry, shallow, and with a temper that is quite scary. I’m not at all sure what the producers saw in him over thousands of others. Like most viewers, I feel sorry for Julie’s public humiliation. I think she is kidding herself by sticking with him. She probably feels it eases the pain and that it is easier to blame Ashli. I hope she gets out of this relationship before it really effects her self esteem. Yes, she deserves better. Live and learn, I guess.

57. Amazing... I don’t know if anyone will read this post or cares to it’s signicance; but this needs to be posted. I’ve read this mudane article followed by its many spiteful posts and what is lost in all this is the truth. I’m Dunbar’s older brother, and the glimpse of his life he shared on MTV is met with a barrage of negativity from most of these (sad to say people) and its terrible to read. By many of these rationals, its NOT human to be at fault, lie, cheat, steal, or err in any way. Funny how Shakespeare says to err IS HUMAN, to FORGIVE is divine. And Julie is DEVINE like many who TRULY know him. Our childhood was met with much abuse and neglect, its amazing Dunbar isn’t dead or in prison. Our father could easliy be dead by the hand of either of us. We each took a different road to deal with everlasting trauma. I left home, Dunbar followed suit. He emancipated and ergo became totally responsible for himself. Most people get encouragement throughout life, even when they mess up. WE got everything short of HELL. Our family lived a lie for many years appearing as normal family to the outside. How dare people judge a life they’ve only seen through a edited program. These people know nothing of the horrors Dunbar has lived. For privacy sake I won’t go in detail. Now, Dunbar has issues... we all do. His choices are not the right ones by many eyes. He will always feel hurt first and love second for the rest of his life. The damage has already been done in that regard. The people who TRULY love him like our family and friends understand this. He has trust and anger issues that will haunt him until his psyche his ready to defeat them. Damn y’all who can’t understand the compassion it take to believe in that. At his core is wonderful and caring person like the HULK. But it doesn’t take much to set him off into a rage. For the record he has NEVER taken steroids or hit a female in his life. He NEVER will no matter how angry he can get. He is the most motivated person you could ever meet cause he has earned what he has through his actions. Nothing, aside from food and shelter, was EVER given to him i.e. education, clothes, material items, etc. he went after them and PAID for them Himself since he was sixteen! That alone deserves respect. Now, we are all sinners in some aspect. Who elected you as body to judge. Dunbar, like all, will answer to his sins; but never to y’all who write negative judgements about him AS IF y’all know him. I’m not going to get religious, but you see where this could go. Dunbar is blessed to be alive and sane< and he knows this. He is also blessed to have Julie in his life who sees his heart and mind and not his infidelty and shortcummings. And there is no denial he has them. He is not sexist. More times than not women set him off cause women more so associate themselves and their different opinions with him. Ergo the animosity towards women and the anti-trust syndrome(has plenty do with mom and our deceased grandmother) he has with them. He is by far not stupid; he’s stubborn but not stupid.
